Wilma Sloughfy, 101, Zelienople, formerly of Armagh, passed away June 26, 2020 at Passavant Lutheran Community. Born on July 24, 1918 in Johnstown, the daughter of the late William and Lila (Graham) Beard. Also preceded in death by husband Lloyd Sloughfy who passed away in 2003, sisters Marie Plowman; Jean Miller, Verta Mae Liebel and twins Joyce and Janet Beard, brother Ralph Beard. Survived by children James Sloughfy and wife Jo Anna, Baden; Lila Simmons, Grove City; Grandsons Daniel Simmons, III; Scott Simmons; Douglas Simmons and wife Katie; Eric Sloughfy and wife Kim. Great-grandchildren Ethan Simmons, Natalie Simmons, Sarah Sloughfy and Rachel Sloughfy. Sister Thelma Jones. Wilma was a devoted wife and mother who loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. An avid baker who enjoyed growing her flowers and was always willing to feed anyone. Her life centered around the activities of the Armagh United Methodist Church during her years living in Armagh. Grave site service and committal 3 pm Monday at Armagh Cemetery. Social distancing and face coverings will be required. Rev. Scott Hamley officiating. Arrangements in care of Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, Armagh. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Armagh United Methodist, 570 W. Philadelphia St., Armagh, PA 19520.
