Schnavely, William B. "Bill", 54, New Florence passed away January 8, 2012 at home. Born April 3, 1957 in Altoona son of William M. Schnavely, Indiana, PA and Lorraine Carbone, New Florence. Bill worked as an union carpenter under local #1419 mainly at the local power plants. He graduated from Laurel Valley High School in 1975. Preceded in death by loving wife Karen Schnavely in 1993. In addition to his parents he is survived by sister Connie Bowers and husband Ted, Bolivar; brother Terry Schnavely, New Florence; nephew Jason Bowers and niece Brook Silk; great-nephews Jason, Jeff and Chase Bowers and great-niece Bailey Silk, all of Bolivar. He also preceded in death by faithful dogs Suzy and Me-Go. Bill's interests include NASCAR Racing and woodworking projects. Friends received 4-8 PM Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 1 pm Thursday Rev. Michael Fischer officiating.
