William J McBurney

William "Bill" Joseph McBurney, 73, Robinson, went to be with the Lord May 31, 2026, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born December 12, 1952, in Latrobe the son of late William and Mary Jane (Dalesandro) McBurney. Also preceded in death by brother Michael McBurney.

Survived by loving wife of almost 53 years Jean (Krouse) McBurney, daughters Melissa Metil and husband Mark, New Florence; and Billie Jo Brendlinger and husband David, Armagh. Grandchildren Dawson Brendlinger, Reece Brendlinger, Preslee Metil and Mark Metil. Sister Deborah McBurney, brother Ronald McBurney and wife Cyndi, along with several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

 Bill was a retired employee and Norfolk Southern and was a railroad enthusiast. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan, enjoyed bowling, and was a superhero fanatic. Most of all Bill enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and his wife's extended family.

 Friends received 4-8 PM Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 AM Thursday. His brother-in-law Pastor Robert Krouse officiating. Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
