Wesley A. "Chewy" Crownover, 52, native of New Florence passed away April 9, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  Born November 9, 1972, in Johnstown the son of late Dennis Crownover and Michele (Shaftic) Crownover Grix.

Survived by children Christopher Crownover, and companion Kaileigh, Gettysburg; Michele McElwee and husband Austin, Blairsville; Lesley Crownover and companion Hayden, Ligonier.  Grandchildren Thomas, Ezra, Sophie, and Lucas. Sister Colette Shiery and husband William, DuBois. Nephew Justin Spengler and his son Klayton.  Niece Cassandra Shiery Emmert and husband John Emmert.

Chewy enjoyed deer hunting, small game hunting, archery hunting, fishing, going camping, working on his tractors, and being with his dog Oliver.  He was a former member of the New Florence Volunteer Fire Company.

Friends received 1pm till time of service 5 pm Saturday April 12, 2025, at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence.  Pastor Sharon Hamley oficiaitng.  Future inurnment Penn View-Mount Tabor Cemetery.  Donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
