Wayne Thomas "Tom" Penrose, 69, of Homer City passed away on November 1, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital.  Born on February 4, 1956, in Johnstown, the son of late Russell, Sr. and Sadie M. (Sherman) Penrose.  Also preceded in death by brothers Sam Penrose, Jr., Phillip Penrose, Sr., and Timothy Penrose, Sr.  and nephews Rusty Penrose, Gary Penrose, Jr., and Brian Drenning, Jr; niece Nicki Penrose.

Survived by wife Theresa (Troska) Penrose, his children Joseph Penrose, Jennifer Penrose, and Jeremy Penrose and wife Mary; his grandchildren Brent, Leo, Shayla, Santonio, and Enzo; and his siblings David Penrose and wife Gloria, Gary Penrose, Sr., and wife Debbie, and Veronica Drenning; sisters-in-law Rose Penrose and Deborah Penrose; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Tom was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed Hunting, fishing, and training his beagles.  People would travel great distances to have him train beagles for them.  He taught many family members how to fish.  Tom enjoyed training his homing pigeons and talking to his cows.  He also enjoyed playing poker and other card or board games with his family.

Friends received 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11 AM Thursday.
