Koske, Walter, J., Jr. "Smokey", 71, Robinson, passed away April 18, 2016. Born June 10, 1944 in Little Rock, Ark. the son of the late Walter J. Koske, Sr. and Idelle E. Koske. Also preceded in death by wife of 51 years Erma Grace Koske. children Wendy Mason and husband Lenny, Strongstown; Chad Koske and wife Heather, Jelm, Wyo.; grandchildren Leann Aikins and husband Alex, Jacob Wadsworth and girlfriend Katie Mumau, Hadley Koske, Lisa Mason, Nikki Repik and husband P.J.; great-grandchildren Carrie and Joanna; mother-in-law Willivine "Beanie" (Boring) Penrose Montgomery, New Florence. Brother-in-laws Norm Penrose and wife Judy, New Florence; Duane Penrose and wife Sue, New Florence; Calvin Montgomery and wife Sally, Oxford, PA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. A former welder at Bethlehem Steel and the owner of Koske's Garage. Smokey enjoyed the numerous hunting excursions he went on with family and friends. He loved and cherished the quility time he spent with his family. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday at the Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where serve will be held 1 pm Saturday. Pastor Joanie Scarff officiating. Internment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
