Virginia L. "Ginny" Slick, 82, New Florence went to be with the Lord July 14, 2011 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born April 10, 1929 in St. Clair Twp. the daughter of late Ira and Elizabeth (Murphy) Hull. Also preceded in death by granddaughter Erin Hostetler, brothers Lt. Robert and Pvt. James C. Hull, both who were killed in action during WWII, sister Sara Helen Ealy. Survived by husband of over 60 years Ronald D. Slick; children James Slick and wife Connie, New Florence; Nancy Hostetler and husband Roger, Salix; David Slick and wife Jeanne, Seward; Steven Slick, Robinson; grandchildren Becky Magdelinic, Michael Slick, Leslie Mangione, Timothy Slick; great-grandchildren Hunter Slick, Olivia Magdelinic, Matthew Mangione; brother Ira Douglas Hull and wife Sandra, New Florence. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Former St. Clair Twp. Tax Collector for 21 years. Member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, New Florence and a former member of New Florence E.U.B. and United Methodist Churches where she was a member of the Mary Martha Fellowship. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, quilting, singing, and playing cards. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Sunday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 am Monday. Rev. Barry G. Young. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
