Viola (Bennett) Gunter, 90, Blairsville, formerly of Cramer passed away April 9, 2020 at home. Born October 18, 1929 in Strongstown the daughter of the late Warren D. and Eva Leona (Hill) Bennett. Also preceded in death by husband James P. Gunter. Survived by daughters Janet Johnson and husband Scott, Hampton, IL; Barbara Brehm, Orange Park, Fl; Gladys McCain and husband Duane, Blairsville. Grandchildren Shannon Richards and husband Art, Clermont, FL; Mark Johnson and wife Christine, Pittsburgh; Matthew Johnson Hampton, IL; Mike Shearman and wife Heather, Salix; Krista Willer and husband Jared, Orange Park, FL; Benjamin Johnson and wife Bonnie, Geneseo, IL; Ryan McCain, Mechanicsburg, Chelsea McCain, Charleroi. Great-grandchildren Collins, Emmett, Braydon,. Landon, Elliott, and Annabelle. Sister Mildred Ekis, Strongstown. Viola was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Viola enjoyed spending her time crocheting, playing find a word and doing puzzles. Due to current health concerns all services wi11 be private. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
