Sims, Verna M. "Nippy", 65, Indiana, passed away January 26, 2016 at home. Born August 21, 1950 in Greensburg the daughter of the late James S. and Rose Ellen (Thompson) Sims. Survived by Sister Awanda Sims, Indiana and brother Jesse Sims, New Florence, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews who she deeply loved. In addition to her parents Verna is also preceded in death by brothers Kenneth Thompson-Sims; James W. Sims and Harry T. Sims. Sisters Martha R. Silliman, and Mary Wagner. Nippy enjoyed flower gardening, crafts and coloring books. Friends received 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Saturday and Sunday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home 139 Ligonier St. New Florence where service will be held 11 AM Monday. Internment St. Joseph Cemetery.
