Verda M. Corbett, 89, Ligonier went home to be with the Lord December 10, 2016 at The Bethlen Home. Born June 3, 1927 in Columbus, OH the daughter of late George and Mildred (Ling) Rose. Also, preceded in death by husband Dwight C. Corbett. Survived by son Rickey O. Corbett and wife Joyce, Bolivar; grandson Philip Corbett, Columbus, OH; brother Donald Rose, Murfreesboro, TN. Verda was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church in Ligonier. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting. Friends received 7-9 PM Tuesday and 9 am till time of service 11 am Wednesday at the Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh with her son Rev. Rick Corbett officiating. Internment Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
