Vanessa J. Strick, 71, Johnstown passed away January 7, 2025, at Richland Health and Rehabilitation after a long and courageous battle with M.S.  Born January 23, 1953, in Johnstown the daughter of late David B. Caldwell, Jr. and Jean J. (Mitchell) Caldwell Darby.  Also preceded in death by brother David Caldwell, nephew Michael Fisher, Jr., and In-laws Harry and Mary Strick.

She is survived by husband Harry, Stepdaughters Tracy and Dorinda, all of Johnstown; sister Jayme Fisher and husband Michael, Armagh; also, several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Vanessa was an LPN at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, who enjoyed being a classic clown, painting, and traveling.

A private visitation will be held at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence.
