Theresa D. Pyer, 55, New Florence passed away September 18, 2024, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.  She was born on September 29, 1968, in Johnstown.

Theresa D. Pyer, 55, New Florence passed away September 18, 2024, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.  She was born on September 29, 1968, in Johnstown.

She is survived by parents Sherry and Ken Steiner, New Florence; sisters Joleene Adams and David Cocchia, New Florence; Connie DeFeo and husband Joesph, Florida; brothers Ken Steiner, Jr, and wife Cindy, Johnstown; and Chuck Steiner and wife Brooke, Seward.  Nieces and nephews Autumn Cameron and husband Tyler, Summer, Amanda, Marion, C.J., Dakota, and Brandon Steiner.  Several great nieces and great nephews.  Aunt Rebecca McAdams.

Preceded in death by brother Jason Adams, Uncles Charles "Bud" Evans, III and wife Michele Evans, and Uncle Craig Pyer.

Theresa was a member of New Florence Volunteer Fire Company where she was the "hydration specialist", an artistic roller and ice skater for Florida Special Olympics where she received numerous medals and competed in the 2001 Special Olympics World Games.  She enjoyed listing to country music.

Friends received 2-4 pm and 6 pm till time of service 8 pm Sunday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence.
