Gorman, Theresa (Chesla), 81, New Florence, passed away December 18, 2016 at Allegheny Lutheran Home, Johnstown. Born January 1, 1935 in Climax, the daughter of the late Andy and Anna (Barbus) Chesla. Also, preceded in death by brother Carl Chesla; daughter-in-law Lydia (Hughes) Gorman; and several brother-in-law's and sister-in-law's. Survived by husband of 61 years David Gorman; children Pamela Colson and husband Joseph, St. Louis, Missouri; Matthew Gorman and wife Helaina, New Florence; Ronald Gorman, Johnstown; grandchildren Andrea Colson; Amber and Joshua Gorman; sister Genevieve Fabrizio, New Florence; brother Edward Chesla and wife Jeanne, Greensburg; in-law's Avis Chesla, New Florence; Agnes Rusin, Robert and Pat Gorman, John Catanese, all of Seward; Kathryn Gorman and Margaret Gorman, both New Florence. Theresa was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and enjoyed spending her time sewing, crocheting and baking. She was an avid Steelers and Pirate fan. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence. Mass of Christian burial 10 am Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 Bridge St., Seward. Rev. Robert Washko officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
