Shirley, Theodore R. "Ted" 67, Shady Grove died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Select Specialty, Latrobe. Born April 25, 1944 in Blairsville, the son of the late John and Nevada (Marsh) Shirley. Also preceded in death by Sister Ruth Houle, Brother Kenneth, Leonard, Bob, Arthur, Stanley, and Eugene Shirley. Survived by wife of 47 years Rose (Johns) Shirley, Children Donna Shirley, Indiana; and Jeff Shirley, Stephens City, VA. Grandchildren Vincent and Natasha Soulchin, Cleveland, TN. Brother of Velma Muir, Heliwood; Letty Miller, Hashbon; Janet Richey, Grove City and Twila Dunmire, Blairsville; Donald Shirley, Brush Valley; also several nieces and nephews and extended family. All around handy man who loved young children. Ted enjoyed traveling and camping, especially having his grandchildren at camp. Retired employee of Halliburton and current employee of Diamond Drug. Friends received Monday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Homes, 392 E. Philadelphia St, Armagh where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM. Rev. Alison Fisher officiating. Interment at Germany Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
