Stephen Muchesko, 90, of Clyde, Pennsylvania, passed away, Sunday, December 23, 2018 at his home. He was born July 7, 1928, in Johnstown, a son of the late Samuel and Julia (Dudash) Muchesko. Stephen was preceded in death by four brothers, Samuel, George, John and Paul Muchesko; and four sisters, Helen Patrick, Josephine, Mary Kozar and Eleanor Roles. Survived by former wife Dorothy (Brendlinger) Muchesko. He was the beloved father of Walter Darl Brendlinger and his wife, Nancy, of Derry, Alex Muchesko, of Clyde, Heidi Chero and her husband, Ronald, of Dilltown, and Tracy Muchesko, of Chicago; beloved grandfather and great-grandfather, nieces, nephews. Steve was a US Army veteran who served in both WWII and Korean wars a retired coal miner. He died on the place he loved the most a little farm in Clyde. Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, PA where service will be held Thursday at 2:30 PM. Pastor James Sunseri officiating.
