Howard, Sarah A., 92, formerly of New Florence passed away July 30, 2017 at Excela Health, Latrobe. Born February 26, 1925 in Summerhill the daughter of the late Frank Pierce and Berth Ada (Gable) Storey. Also preceded in death by husband Homer Wesley Howard; Sisters Jean Ewt, Edna Rhoades and Ruth Kaltenbaugh. Survived by children Sammy Howard and wife Kathleen, New Florence; Marvin Howard and wife Barbara, Johnstown; Sally Watts and husband Richard, Estero, FL; Deborah Suschak and husband Pat, New Florence; grandchildren Christine Nugent and husband Rick, Sidman; Patrick Suschak and wife Christina, Latrobe; Jeremy Suschak, Pittsburgh; great-grandchildren Ava Suschak, Liam Suschak and Brady Nugent; sister Catherine Yaconi, New Florence. Sarah was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church of over 56 years. She enjoyed square dancing, playing cards with family and friends and was a beautiful seamstress. Also enjoyed family gatherings, holidays with her family, all the various daily activities at Mountain View Specialty Care and reading her Bible every day. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence. Service 11 am Thursday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 117 Chestnut Street, New Florence. Rev. Carole Isley-Corey officiating. Interment Fairfield Cemetery.
