Sandra E. "Nana" Garland, 78, Robinson passed away August 24, 2025, at Hilltop Heights, Johnstown.  Born December 5, 1946, in Colver the daughter of late James and Mona Ruth (Arford) Nixon.  Also preceded in death by husband Arthur Lee Garland, and brothers Patrick and Richard Petricig.

Survived by daughter Kathy Garland, Robinson; son Adam Garland and wife Melanie Shane, Barberton, OH; grandson Alexander Garland, step-grandchildren Christian, Nicholas, Tayler, and Carter.  Step-great-grandchildren Evie, Addison, Elijah, Rin, and a circle of others who loved her and called her Nana.  Brothers Bill Nixon, Robinson; and Doug Nixon, Bolivar.

Sandy was an avid WWE fan who enjoyed listing to her audio books, watering her garden, playing video games on her tablet.  She loved her dogs and tolerated her daughter cats.  She made sure nobody was a stranger.  She offered a home to everyone who came through her door.  Sandy had an abiding faith in her God.

Graveside service and inurnment 1 pm Friday at Penn View-Mount Tabor Cemetery.  Arrangements in care of Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence.
