Sam Payne, 84, Lockport, passed away April 11, 2026, at IRMC. Born February 21, 1942, in Lockport, the son of the late Alvin and Amy (Muir) Payne. Also preceded in death by brothers, Alvin "Les" Payne, Boyd Payne, infant brother Richard Payne and sisters Shirley McKinney and Jean Burkett.
He is survived by son Brad Payne and wife Melissa, Seward, and special friend Billie.
Sam was a retired mechanic from Dietrich Industries, Blairsville, who enjoyed spending time in his backyard and riding his four-wheeler.
As per Sam's wishes there will be no public visitation or service. Arrangements in care of Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence.
