Ruth E. Penrose, 76, Somerset passed away April 24, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Born June 4, 1943 in Johnstown the daughter of the late Henry and Florence Smith. Also preceded in death by daughters Deborah and Christine, granddaughter Jacqualine, great-grandson Matthew, brothers Ted and John, sisters Helen and Margaret. Survived by children David Brown and wife Karen, Arkansas; Roy Penrose and wife Cindy, Somerset; Brenda Berkhamer and husband Bob, New Florence, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, great-grandson Matthew, brother Henry and sister Lucy. Ruth enjoyed bowling, crafts and senior activities. Due to current health concerns there will be no public viewing or services. Family assisted by Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence.
