Obituary

Rudolph "Rudy" E. Antonio, 89, Bolivar passed away March 23, 2022 at The Bethlen Home, Ligonier.  Born May 16, 1932 in Blairsville, the son of late Nicholas and Madelina (Castelli) Antonio.  Also preceded in death by sisters Louise Nee, Mary Burkett, Lena Winegar and Thelma Bender.  Brothers Patsy, Ralph and William Antonio.

Survived by wife of 71 years Alice "Cookie" (Treasure) Antonio.  Children Deborah Antonio, Greensburg; Kathy Flickinger, Ligonier; Richard Antonio, New Florence; grandchildren Nicholas Flickinger, and Alicia Jo Downing; great-grandchildren Rudy and Josephine Flickinger, and Emma Downing; brother Richard Antonio, Pottstown.

Rudy enjoyed golf, where he had a couple hole-in-ones, bowling, which he won championships, classic automobiles, and hunting.  He also was a builder, family man and man of integrity.  Rudy loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was a member of First Church of Christ, Bolivar and retiree of Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown Plant.
