Obituary

Royston C Dickert, Sr, 78, Seward past away Monday, March 3, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 11,1935 in Seward the son of the late Thomas and Frances (Yeager) Dickert. Also preceded in death by wife Yvonne (Croyle) Dickert; twin brother Raymond and brother Thomas Dickert; sisters Evelyn Francis, Rita Howard, Helen Agnes Shaffer. Survived by son Roy Dickert, New Florence; grandsons Justin and wife Michelle Dickert, Monroeville; Shane Dickert and Brandon Dickert, both of Seward; sisters Anna Mary Ashcraft, Elizabeth & husband Michael Wasilko, Lucille & husband Stan Bodowski; brothers John & wife Lois Dickert, James Dickert; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members. Retired Marine Corps veteran having served in Korean and Vietnam Wars. Life member of New Florence V.F.W. Post 7622. He coached numerous teams that his grandsons played on and attended all their games as they got older. Memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh. Rev. Scott Hamley officiating. Inurnment Armagh Cemetery. Military rite by local veterans organization
