Scanga, Rose, 86, New Florence, died October 8, 2013 at Bethany Place Personal Care Home, Indiana, PA. Born February 10, 1927 in Connellsville, the daughter of the late Fredmon and Ida (McDermott) Stillwagon. Also preceded in death by husband Ben Scanga. Survived by children Christopher, Michael, Corinne Schwartz, David, Brian, Eric, Connie-Marie Puckett, Cass Eiselman, Carol, 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Member of New Life church, New Florence. Friends will be received 2-4 & 7-9 PM Thursday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 am Friday.
