Merritt, Ronald H., 72, Bolivar went home to be with the Lord December 27, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 23, 1940 in Johnstown the son of late Harry W. and Helen M. (Frum) Merritt. Also preceded death wife Judith A. (Hughes) Merritt; brothers William and twin Richard Merritt. Survived by daughters Kelly Pardee and husband Michael, Bolivar; Trisha DeCasere and husband William, Coppersburg; and Kathy Mayancsik and husband Thomas, Brush Valley; grandchildren Jordan and his wife Jacqueline, and Jessica Pardee; Brendan and Taylar Mayancsik; William, Mitchell, Wesley and Morgan DeCasere; sister Barbara Suschak and husband Paul, New Florence; US Marine Corps Veteran having served with both the 1st and 3rd Marine Division in two tours of Vietnam. Life member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and D.A.V. Member of Sonrise Church, Greensburg and part owner of Four Seasons Barbeque . Interment Armagh Cemetery. Military grave site honors will be given. Friends received 1-4 & 6-9 pm Saturday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St, Armagh, where service will be held 2 pm Sunday.
