Stewart, Rodney Richard, 43, St. Leonard, MD died July 2, 2012 at WVU Ruby Memorial Medical Center. Born July 24, 1968 in Indiana son of Richard and Virginia (Clark) Stewart, Dilltown; also survived by wife Karin Marie (Andes) Stewart; daughters Meggie Marie and Carli Mae Stewart both at home; sister Vicki Naugle and husband Joseph, Armagh; father-in-law and mother in-law George and Kathleen Andes, Terra Alta, WV; brother-in-law Tim Andes and wife Kim, Washington DC; sister-in-law Katie Andes and Jolene Farmer, Annapolis; uncle of Joey and Tori Naugle; Kai Andes; Lei Lani Farmer; numerous uncles, aunt, cousin and close friends. Rod was a dedicated teacher and coach in the Calvert County Public Schools who impacted the lives of many students and athletes. He was recognized for his toughness and fairness. Rod was named to Northern High School Coaches Hall of Fame; honored as S.M.A.C. Coach of the year; and member of Maryland Basketball Officiating Association; Elks Lodge #2620 and Dilltown Sportsman Club. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 8 PM at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday. Rev. Jim Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Rod's name to Calvert High Athletic Boosters, Calvert H. S., 520 Fox Run Blvd; Prince Frederick, MD 20679.
