Riley Jane Chesla, 8, New Florence, passed away March 10, 2024.  Born February 27, 2016, in Johnstown the daughter of Brian and Jennifer (Galbraith) Chesla, New Florence.  Also survived by brother Isaac Chesla, paternal grandfather Randy Chesla & Edi Nesmith, paternal grandmother Lori (Brown) Chesla, maternal grandfather Jim Galbraith & Tangi Scott and maternal grandmother Bonnie (Sloan) Galbraith.  Great-grandmothers Kathryn Chesla, Norma Baird, and Thelma Galbraith. Aunts and uncles Jason (Jody) Chesla, Eric (Karly) Chesla, and Christine (Dan) Sowers.  Also, numerous cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles, and extended family.

Riley was a second-grade student at Laurel Valley Elementary.  Anyone that knew Riley would tell you how she can light up a room.  She is a free spirit, she is funny, kind and loving.  She mostly loved her family and animals.  Listening to music is her favorite.  She enjoyed dance class and anytime spent with family or at the fire hall with her fire company family.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier Street, New Florence where service will be held 11 am Thursday. Pastors Jim and Connie Pardee officiating. Interment Fairfield Cemetery.
