Richard C. McGinity, 83 Ligonier formerly of Blairsville passed away December 29, 2014 at Excela Health Latrobe Area Hospital. Born May 13, 1931 in Indiana County the son of late Ralph and Gertrude McGinity. Also preceded in death by brothers Raymond, Blaine and Norman McGinity. Survived by wife of 58 years Lois (McAdoo) McGinity; daughters Pamela Malek and husband Joseph, Blairsville; Linda McGinity and Travis Sanner, Kecksburg; Kim Kinneer and husband Brent, Rector; grandchildren Chad Calabrese and Cory McGinity, both Latrobe; Codie Howard, Bedford; four great-grandchildren; sisters Geneva McGinity and Betty Belice, both Blairsville; and several nieces and nephews. Dick enjoyed spending time with his family and helping at the Laughlintown Antique Mall which his family manages. He was a member of International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Union Local 409 Greensburg and Boilermakers Local 154, Pittsburgh. As per his wishes there will be no public visitation or services a memorial service will be schedule at a later date.
