Brett, Richard W., Jr., 62, New Florence passed away June 3, 2017, as a result of an auto accident in Venango County while camping and fishing in the area. Born December 19, 1954 in Johnstown son of Richard W. Brett, Sr., and Patricia C. (Strecho) Lawhead. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother of New Florence; sister Ranae Masciotra and husband Dr. Nicholas Masciotra, Johnstown and their children Nicola and Nicholas Masciotra; daughter Veronica Houck and husband Ron, Bolivar; grandchildren Amber and J.R. Houck; great-grandson Landon Garland. He was an avid fly fisherman, camper and outdoorsman who enjoyed traveling. Friends received from 1 pm till time of service 2 pm Wednesday at Kenneth A.
