Sawko, Raymond M., 43, Seward formerly of Portage passed away December 19, 2014 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born June 27, 1971 in Johnstown the son of late Paul M. Sawko and Joyce (Gentile) Sawko Keith and husband Kenneth, Portage; Also survived by wife Georgiann (McLaughlin) Sawko, step-son Tylor McLaughlin, both Seward; brothers Christopher D. Sawko and Shelby, Sidman; Micahel P. Sawko and wife Brittany, Portage; father-in-law and mother-law George and Sharon McLaughlin, Gas Center; step-brother, step-sister, numerous nieces nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and extended family, also beloved dog Coco. Employee of Keystone Generating Station and member of IBEW Local 495, president of Ben's Creek Wildlife Assoc., former United Youth Football Couch. He enjoyed camping and an avid Steelers and sports fan. Ray was a wonderful husband, step-father, son, brother and friend who was loved by all who knew him. Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 425 Bridge St., Seward, the Rev. Robert Washko officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery.
