Raymond Jay McGarvey, 65, of Bolivar passed away March 28, 2015 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born June 26, 1949 in Robinson, the son of and the late Jim and Martha (Dodson) McGarvey. He is survived by daughter Kelly Clair and husband Troy, Marshville, MO. Brothers Jess McGarvey and wife Mary, Blairsville and David McGarvey and wife Louise, NJ. Sister Kathleen Roney, Blairsville; nephew Mark Roney, Blairsville and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by sister Donna. Jay was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam era. He enjoyed flying model air planes, shooting pool, fishing and riding his motorcycles. At Jay's request there will be no services.
