Lubitz, Raymond L, 75, Blairsville, passed away June 16, 2014 at home. Born December 24, 1938 in Greensburg the son of the late Eugene "Bus" and Martha (Wolf) Lubitz. Survived by wife of almost 45 years Kathleen Lubitz; children Kevin Lubitz and Stacey Lubitz both of Blairsville; grandchildren Samantha and Kayda; brothers James and wife Sharlene; Carl and Richard. Ray was also loved by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to convey a SPECIAL THANKS TO THE HOSPICE NURSES AND SPECIAL HELPERS Michael, Brenda, Missy and Heather. Ray retired from Boilermakers Union Local 154, Pittsburgh and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. At his request there will be no visitation. A celebration of Ray's life will be held at a later date.
