Obituary

Ralph C. Stewart, 66, Brush Valley passed away Monday May 13, 2013 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born January 2, 1947 in Brush Valley the youngest son of late Edgar and Frances Matilda (Wallace) Stewart. He was a 1964 graduate of United High School. He loved children of all ages and would have done anything for them. He worked in the gas industry for 30 years. He served in the Army Reserves and helped with the Indiana County Fair Beef Project. He is survived by wife Addy (Cubeta), his two daughters Melanie Stewart and Kim Ray and the "light of his life", his twin grandchildren Ralph Joseph and Amber Rose. Also survived by a sister Dorothy Byers, Indiana; two brothers Harry Stewart, Indiana; Collins "Bill" Stewart, Blairsville; and a very special man, he considers brother and best friend Gordon Phillips, Indiana and Mechanicsburg; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Wilber and Mack Stewart, and two sisters Lillian Tartal and D. Pearl Orr. Friends will be received 7-9 PM Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at the Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E Philadelphia St., Armagh; and 9 till time of funeral service 10 am Friday at Armagh United Methodist Church, 570 W Philadelphia St., Armagh. Pastor Jim Miller officiating. Interment Oakland Cemetery. A meal will be served at the Brush Valley Fire Hall at 1 pm.
