Obituary

Ralph Homer Morrow of Bolivar left this life unexpectedly on his 54th. birthday, December 8, 2012, while working in Portland, IN. He was born on the Mercy Hospital in Johnstown and grew up in New Florence. In 1977 he graduated Laurel Valley High School they left on July 21st. with his friend Jeff "Knuppie" Knupp for basic training at the Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, ILL. Homer served 6 years, mostly on the U.S.S Nashville, as a Fireman Hull Tech where he traveled around the world. He was a jack-of-all trades who proudly worked many blue-collar positions over the years. His current employment was with Laurel Ridge Land Clearing as a laborer. Homer was a hard working Irish Lad who loved his family, friends and country beyond words. Some of his passions included living life "his" way, Rock-n-roll music with bass blasting, dancing with his eyes closed, shooting pool with pals, taking it personal when the Steelers lose or chewing the rag with anyone about the government, sports, conspiracy theories or just about anything. He'd drop what he's doin' to help a friend or stranger, he was bigger than life and a hopeless romantic. Rock on sweet Bro. We'll miss you.
