Phyllis Y. McGarvey, 79, Bolivar, passed away June 1, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born May 9, 1940 in Johnstown the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Marie (Foust) Stercho.  Also preceded in death by husband Lewis W. McGarvey, Jr., son Randy McGarvey and daughter Luann Libengood.  Survived by grandchildren Brandy Brown and husband Darrell Beacom, Robinson; Daniel Libengood and Seleena Martinez, Bakersfield, CA; Miranda Libengood and David Stutzman, Blairsville; great-grandchildren Michael Raineri and Kristina Chero, Sebastian Raineri, Noah Beacom, Gray Dakota Beacom, Colten Beacom and Paisley Beacom, all of Robinson; and Carson Libengood, Blairsville; sister Patricia Lawhead, Johnstown.

Phyllis enjoyed country music especially Ricky Van Shelton and Elvis Presley; red birds; and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends received 6-8 PM Wednesday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence; and 2 pm till time of service 3 pm Friday at Bolivar Church of Christ, Shomo Street, Bolivar.  Ray Lee officiating.  Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
