Henderson, Olive M. (Betts), 88, New Florence passed away June 25, 2013 at The Bethlen Home, Ligonier. Born October 28, 1924 in Bolivar the daughter of late Joseph and Viola (Roby) Betts. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Blair "Jiggs" Henderson to whom she was married 44 years. She was also preceded in death by son Blair L., and brothers Donald, James and Ralph Betts. Surviving are sons Dennis E. and wife Beverly, New Florence; Charles D. and wife Carol, New Florence; and Thomas J. and wife Pamela, Ebensburg; also surviving are sisters Edna Henderson, Gertrude Bowers, Romayne (Eugene) Boring, Joan (Leroy) Penrose and dear sister-in-law Jean Betts, 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of Fairfield Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Aux., a member of Johnstown Chapter No. 183 Order of Eastern Star, New Florence Senior Center, Ligonier Campers and Hikers, and Trinity Presbyterian Church, New Florence. Family and friends received 4-8 PM Friday and 10 am till time of service 11 AM Saturday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, with Rev. Barry Young officiating. Private interment will follow at West Fairfield Cemetery.
