Norris G. Boring

Norris G. Boring, 78, New Florence, left this world on August 31, 2026, in Johnstown. Born on March 15, 1948, in Wilkinsburg, the son of the late Norris W. "Pete" and Helen (Yusko) Boring.

Norris dedicated his life to service both in and out of uniform.

Norris proudly served his country during the Vietnam Era as an Army Veteran, a time that instilled in him a profound sense of duty and honor. Upon returning home, he made a significant impact in his community through his dedication to his work as a security officer in various local establishments, including Kmart, Ames, Hills Department Store, Weave Security Company, Valor Security Company, and St. Moritz Security.

Beyond his admirable career, Norris was known for his generous spirit, often sharing his love of cooking by giving away food and thoughtful gifts to those around him. His kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy of compassion that will not be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
