Norma Jean Rummell, 87, Bolivar passed away July 7, 2026, at Loyalhanna Care Center. Born October 13, 1938, in Connellsville, the daughter of late George and Mary (Rosain) Riter. Also preceded in death by husband Howard Kenneth Rummell, great grandson James Palmer, brothers Edward, Charles and Ralph Riter, and sisters Ella Conroy, Olive Rummell, Irene Wood, Ruth Chaffin, Betty Homer, Mary Lou Linderman, Joanne Geary.

 

Survived by daughters Juene (Paul) Sabolik, Lora Harman, Laureen (Gary) Gray, and Faith (Michael) Cavallo. Also 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.

 

Jean enjoyed cooking and baking. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

 

Her family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Loyalhanna Care Center for the excellent care, love, and support she received in the last four years and especially to her favorite nurse Amber Cavallo.

 

At her request there will be no public visitation or service. Arrangements in the care of Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral home, New Florence. Memorial donations in her name may be made to Alzheimer's Association  www.alz.org
