Michael Robert Brown, 14, of Warrenton, NC, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at his home. Born in Altoona, PA., he is the son of Jenifer Cimbalista of the home and Alan Michael "Mike" Brown of Henderson. Michael was a student at Vance Charter School. He was a member of the Beta Club, the National Honor Society, the Henderson Chess Club and Incz Hunting Club. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Flowers Funeral Home Chapel. Surviving , in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Lola Cimbalista-San Juan and Sofica Cimbalista-San Juan both of the home; a brother Christopher Cimbalista of the home; his paternal grandmother, Bonna Brown of Johnstown, PA and his maternal grandfather, Robert Cimbalista of Everett, PA. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Meg's Smile Foundation, 105 Hickory Glenn Lane, Holly Springs, NC 27540.
