Michael D. Fisher, Sr. 83, Seward, passed away June 19, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.  Born June 1, 1942, in Center Twp., Indiana County, PA, the son of the late Ronald, Sr. and Lorena (Filler) Fisher.  Also preceded in death by sons Michael Fisher, Jr and Tim Melee.  Grandson Andy Harris.  Sisters Janet Beeler, Lorena Overman, Patricia Winston, and brother Ronald Fisher, Jr.

Survived by loving wife Jayme (Caldwell) Fisher.  Children Deborah Harris and husband Harold, Fredrick, MD; Stephen Shomo, Johnstown; Ryan Fisher, New Florence; Jennifer Gabriel, New Florence; and Rick Melee, Maryland.  Grandchildren Michael Harris, Sean Harris, Emily Fisher and Lucas Gabriel. Great-grandchildren Ella Harris, Colton Harris.

Michael retired as a CPO having served in the US Navy.  He enjoyed wood carving, hunting, fishing, camping, boating on the Youghiogheny River, canning, preserving meat, and tending to his flowers and vegetables in his garden.

Friends received from 2 pm till time of service 6 pm Sunday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence.  Rev. Ruth Moore officiating.  Military honors by local veterans' organization.
