Mathew Dean "Mat" Wier, 29, Homer City passed away December 22, 2015 at home. Born March 27, 1986 in Indiana. Survived by mother Barbara J. (McCurdy) Sharp and step-father Thomas Sharp, Homer City; brother Clayton A. Wier, Jr., Indiana; aunts and uncles Vicky Lambert and husband Bill; Brenda L. Freedline and fiancé Mark Malik; Mary "Tootie" Freedline, Ricky McCurdy and wife Terri; Rodney McCurdy. Several cousins and extended family members. Preceded in death by grandmother Mary E. McCurdy and uncles Arthur E. and Robert D. McCurdy. Mat enjoyed model cars, hot rods, motor cycles, fishing, music especially Kurt Cobain and Nirvana and was a Philadelphia Eagle and Flyer fan.
