Mary Louise "Mary Lou" (Poraczky) McGeary, 83, Seward, passed away November 1, 2024, at Ligonier Gardens.  Born November 11, 1940, in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late George Michael, Sr. and Anna (Hamimicra) Poraczky.  Also preceded in death by husband Gerald E. McGeary; sister Anna Marie Lloyd and brothers George Poraczky, Jr. and Nicolas Poraczky

Survived by loving sons Michael and wife Judith McGeary of Cameron, TX; Matthew and wife Sue McGeary of Armagh; Mark and wife Crystal McGeary of Scottdale; Grandchildren Richard and wife Jennifer, Chauncey, Weylon and wife Hannah, Logan, and Sarah McGeary; Great-Grandchildren Conner, Caedon, Oliver McGeary, and one soon to be great-granddaughter.  Sister Barbara Blechartas & husband Ed, York.

Member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Mary Lou enjoyed going to their camp in Donegal and the Elks Lodge #175, Johnstown.  She worked as a nurse at Lee Hospital and American Red Cross.
