Mary Ann Caldwell, 84, New Florence, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, who left this world peacefully on February 24, 2026. Born on January 13, 1942, in Latrobe, the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Walchock) Chesla. Also preceded in death by husband George A. Caldwell, daughter Carol Sattizahn, brothers Edward, Frank, and Nicholas Chesla, sisters Catherine McDowell, Josephine Mika, Helen Parfitt and Betty Gaffey

Mary Ann dedicated her life to her family and the nurturing of her loved ones. A proud homemaker, she cherished her role and found immense joy in cooking for family and friends, gathering them around her table to share laughter and love.

Mary Ann is survived by her beloved son, George Caldwell; her cherished grandchildren, Keira, Ryan, and Grace Sattizahn; son-in-law, Brian Sattizahn; and her brothers Thomas, and Joseph Chesla. Each of them will carry cherished memories of her kindness and generosity in their hearts

Mary Ann was a long-standing member of the New Florence Global Methodist Church, where her faith played a central role in her life. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and warmth, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11 AM Friday. Pastor Sharon Hamley officiating. Interment Fairfield Cemetery.

Mary Ann Caldwell will forever be remembered as a loving woman whose spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
