Martha Marie Garland, 102, Bolivar died May 25, 2012 at St. Andrew's Village, Indiana. Born July 6, 1909 in Kingston, PA the daughter of late George and Agnes (Adams) Fletcher. Also preceded in death by husband George L. Garland, son Harry Garland, brothers Tom and Harry Fletcher, sisters Mable Mundorf, Sadie Harkcom, Ethel Boyer, Annabelle Myers, Susie Ashcom and Exie Parks; daughter-in-law Bridgette Wineland. Survived by children Ralph Wineland, Washington D.C.; George Garland and wife Angie, Las Vegas; Judy Lichtenfels and husband Richard who Martha called her Buddy, Bolivar; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Member of Bolivar Presbyterian Church, D.A.R., Bolivar Vol. Fire co. Ladies Aux. and Robinson V.F.W. Post 9310 Ladies Aux. She enjoyed fishing, bingo, bowling and scratch-off lottery tickets. Friends received 2-8 PM Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11 am Wednesday. Pastor James Sunseri officiating.
