Marjorie D. Brehm, 91, Seward, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2026, at the Communities at Indian Haven. Born on March 30, 1935, in New Florence, the daughter of the late Melvin and Nellie Grace (Adams) Roddy. Also preceded in death by husband Roger C. Brehm; brother Melvin Roddy and sisters Melvina Toth and Mary Lou Campbell.
Marjorie dedicated her life to her family and home, instilling love and warmth in all she touched.
A cherished matriarch, Marjorie raised three children: son Roger Brehm and daughters Beverly Duncan and husband Roy and Colleen Phillips and husband Paul. She embraced her role as a grandmother, taking immense joy in her grandchildren-Shannon Richards, Krista Willer, Kimberly Henning, Justin Duncan, Erin Zack, Shawn Kelly, and Stephanie White-and her 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, who brought her endless delight. Also survived by sister Gladys McKinney and an extended family of relatives and friends who will remember her with deep affection. Marjorie's legacy of love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Marjorie was an active member of the Blacklick Creek Christian Church, where her faith and community involvement flourished. She found joy in reading and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, often sharing her enthusiasm for the team with family and friends. Her passion for learning and her appreciation for life's simple pleasures made her a remarkable presence in the lives of many.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 East Philadelphia St., Armagh, where service will be held 11 AM Thursday. Pastor Terry Glessner officiating. Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
The family would like to express their gratitude to 365 Hospice for their sincere compassion and care, also the staff of Indian Haven and the Klain, Heasley, Nettleton group, especially Dr. Klain for the care Marjorie received. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Blacklick Creek Christian Church in Marjorie's memory.
