Marietta M. Jones-Cowling, 86, Charles, passed away February 14, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born May 7, 1933 in Huntingdon County, the daughter of the late Carles E. & Mary E. (Kelley) Melius. Also preceded in death by first husband Wayne Jones, second husband Charles Cowling, infant brother George Melius, and faithful companion Blackie. Survived by daughters Susan Skaggs and husband David, Seward; Deborah Currie and husband Thomas, Charles. Grandchildren John Currie, Robert Currie, and Karlie Skaggs (Joe Kolenda). Brother Edgar Melius and wife Phyllis, Charles; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Marietta enjoyed spending her time crocheting, reading, collecting recipes and cooking. She was a "self proclaimed" carpenter who you always knew something was up when your heard her hammering. She was a former employee of Conemaugh Memorial Hospital and Arbutus Park Manor Memorial donations may be made in Marietta memory to your local animal shelter. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heritage Home Health and Penn Hospice for all their support and loving care.
