Garber, Mabel (Piasente), 80, Tarkio, MO, native of New Florence passed away February 20, 2018, Community Hospital in Fairfax, MO. Born September 17, 1937, the daughter of the late Casimiro and Joanna (Sbardella) Piasente. Also preceded in death by husband James P. Garber and sister Kathryn "Kathy" Rogers. Survived by sister Lillian "Rudi" Piasente, Yaphank, NY; niece Stephenie Joanna Scott and husband Matthew, Islip, NY; great-nephew Daniel Kenneth Scott and great-niece Samantha Kathryn Scott; special friend Mike Christiansen, Tarkio, MO; and beloved cat Sam. Mabel was a 1955 graduate of Laurel Valley High School . At Mabel's request all services will be held in the Missouri area where she has resided for the pass 50 years. Friends received Wednesday, February 28, from 9 AM to 8 PM, a Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM at Hemmingsen Funeral Home, 801 'S' Street, Auburn, NE 68305, where service will be Thursday, March 1 1030 AM.
