Loris "Tony" McCachren, 77, Armagh, beloved husband of Helen (Clark) passed away at home Tuesday October 2, 2012. Tony was a wonderful father grandfather and friend. He was a member of the Ligonier Church of Christ. He was born May 1, 1935 in Armagh the son of the late George and Mary (Lowther) McCachren. Survived by his wife of almost 57 years Helen; daughters Connie Douglas and husband Charles Jr., Ligonier; Judy Hinton and husband Michael, Knoxville, Tenn; Patricia Napotnik and husband Richard, New Florence; grandchildren Tiffany, Victoria, Samantha, Whitney, Jacob, Madison and Max; great-grandchildren Dylan, Courtney, and Eden; sisters Lois Lytle, DePew, NY and Georgene Tomb, New Florence; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by grandchildren Rachel and Jacob Napotnik; sister Mary Lou Clawson and brother Ernest Lowther. Tony was a retired inspector from Bethlehem Steel Corp and served in the Marine Corps Reserves. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11 am Friday. Internment Armagh Cemetery.
