Linda Ressler

Linda Lou Ressler, 77, of Cramer, PA, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 19th, 2026.

Born at Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown, PA, Linda was a graduate of United High School, Class of 1966. She went on to graduate from Georgetown Nursing School in Washington, D.C., in 1970. Linda spent the entirety of her adult life caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse. The majority of her career was spent at Indian Haven Nursing Home and LifeSteps in Homer City. She retired from Keeper of the Flame in 2013.

Linda kept her mind sharp by playing Nintendo daily-before and after work-and sometimes for hours on end.

Linda had a wicked and unique sense of humor and a deep love of music, ranging from The Beatles to Adele, with her greatest passion reserved for Tupac. She spent much of her retirement watching British television. Linda held strong political views and was unapologetically vocal about them-particularly her dislike of Donald Trump-often with a live political news station playing in the background. If you ever visited Linda's home, you likely left having been fed dinner, dessert, a bottle of Coca-Cola, or cup of coffee to-go.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clark "Pete" and Sadie (Michelbacher) Ressler; her brothers Richard, Carl, and Marlin; and her sister-in-law's, Betty and Judith Hamer.

She is survived by her beloved son, Brian; her daughter-in-law, Kayla; and her granddaughter, Isabella of Indiana. She is also survived by her niece and nephew, Dan (Michaelene) Ressler and Christine (Greg) Spencer, as well as her great-nephews, Benjamin and Jackson Spencer.

As per Linda's request there will be no visitation or services. Family assisted by Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, Armagh. Future interment Armagh Cemetery.
