Garland, Lillian Olive, 90, Bolivar went home to be with God January 5, 2014 with her family at her side at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 11, 1923 in Lockport, the daughter of late Samuel G., Sr. and Frieda (Gill) McKinney. Also preceded in death by husband Odin E. Garland, brothers Samuel G. Jr. and Grover C. McKinney. Lillian was a beloved mother to Jack W. Garland and wife Heidi, New Florence; Karen A. Garland, Bolivar; grandchildren Brian K. Garland and wife Christine, McDonald; Tangi Garland Scott; New Florence; Bree Wakefield and husband Bryan, Corning, NY; Jake McChesney and wife Tina, Bolivar. She is also survived by her six loving great-grandchildren, Cody Hunt, Jesse and Katelyn Garland, Devin Machak, Kade and Madigan Wakefield; sister Agnes McKinney, Ligonier. Lillian devoted her life to the love and care of her family. Friends received 2-4 & 7-9 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11am, Wednesday. Pastor Jim Sunseri officiating.
