McGarvey, Lewis W., Jr., 77, Bolivar died December 15, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. Born February 6, 1936, in Bolivar the son of late Lewis and Esther (Krouse) McGarvey. Also preceded in death by son Randy McGarvey, sister Esther Burkett, brother Gerald McGarvey. Survived by wife Phyllis (Stercho) McGarvey; daughter Luann Libengood, Bolivar; grandchildren Brandy Brown, Robinson, Daniel Libengood formerly of Bolivar; Miranda Libengood, Bolivar; great-grandchildren Michael and Sebastain Raineri, Noah and Gray Dakota Beacom; sisters Gloria LaMantia, Bolivar and Camilla Shean, Brenizer. Avid hunter and fisherman, retired employee of Con-Rail and US Army veteran of Korean War. Friends received 7-9PM Wednesday and 2-4 & 7-9PM Thursday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St. New Florence, and 1 till time of service 2 pm Friday at Church of Christ, Shomo St., Bolivar. Ray Lee officiating. Military rite by local veteran organization.
