Lesta R. Lichtenfels

Lesta R. Lichtenfels, 91, Robinson went to be with the Lord June 7, 2026, at IRMC surrounded by her loving family. Born September 11, 1934, in Robinson the last surviving child of John and Edith (Boyle) McDowell. Also preceded in death by husband Harry D. Lichtenfels Sr., and these brothers and sisters Blaine, Glenn, Denver, Susan and Naomi McDowell, Eva Mae McMillen, Lena Heffelfinger, Emma Jane Barbus, Della Fisher, Neva Mills, and Ada Barbus.

Survived by children Harry (Catherine) Lichtenfels, Jr. Joseph (Lucinda) Lichtenfels. Pamela (Darren) Smith, Jerry Lichtenfels, Tracy (Brian) McClellan. Grandchildren Michael (Jamie) Lichtenfels, Matthew (Ashley) Lichtenfels, Jill (Adam) Duplin, Dana (Ernie) Adams, Scott (Dana) Lichtenfels, Erik (Allie) Smith, Luke (Lauren) Smith, Ashley (Tim) Monoskey, Daniel (Erika) Lichtenfels, and Hunter McClellan. Fifteen great grandchildren.

Lesta was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Robinson V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, and part of W. Wheatfield Twp. Election Baird for many years. She enjoyed playing Bingo, rippie tickets, word search puzzles, and sitting on her swing on her front porch. She was an avid Pitt Panther fan. Lesta was a former cook at United High School. She had a deep lover for all her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence and 10 AM till time of service 11 AM Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church, 6810 Rt. 22 Hwy E., New Florence. Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial
